Hi guys! In this post, I will show you how to make Homemade Vicks Vapor Rub For Kids.
Vicks Vapor Rub is a popular brand of topical rub for relieving congestion and chest tightness. It is used for temporary relief of colds, coughs, and sore throats.
This product is sold in various forms such as a liquid vaporizer, as an ointment, or as a nasal inhaler.
Vicks Vapor Rub was invented by pharmacist Lunsford Richardson in 1894 in Memphis, Tennessee.
It is most commonly recommended for use on the chest and throat to relieve congestion caused by colds or allergies.
This product has also been used topically on the feet to relieve foot pain associated with diabetes mellitus or diabetes.
The active ingredients are menthol (2%–10%), camphor (1%–5%), and eucalyptus. However, it is not suitable for children.
Vicks Vapor Rub contains camphor and menthol which can be harmful if taken in large quantities.
Vicks Vapor Rub is also not suitable for children as it can cause some side effects if used excessively including seizures, hallucinations, drowsiness, and even coma.

So, in this post I will show you how to make your own Vicks vapor rub that you can use on your children. It is easy to make and can be customized for specific people.
The most common ingredients are like balms where we need beeswax and oil.
There are many benefits to making your own Vicks vapor rub.

You know what’s in it, it’s cheaper than buying one from the store, it can be customized with your favorite oils and essential oils.
Benefits of Each Ingredient
1. Virgin coconut oils
Virgin coconut oil is a natural product that does not contain any chemicals, so it is safe to use on the skin.
Virgin coconut oil offers many benefits for the skin. It has anti-inflammatory properties that help heal cuts and wounds.
It also has antimicrobial properties that can fight acne-causing bacteria.
Virgin coconut oil also contains antioxidant properties that help protect the skin from free radicals and toxins in the environment.
The popularity of virgin coconut oil has increased due to its many benefits for the skin, such as moisturizing, regenerating, and protecting the skin from free radicals and toxins in the environment.
It is also anti-fungal and suitable for fighting infections.
The best part is that virgin coconut oil is a clear oil, so it will leave a white balm and almost look like a Vicks vapor rub.
2. Beeswax
The benefits of using beeswax are that it will give your skin a healthy glow, it will make your skin feel soft, and it will help moisturize your dry skin.
Beeswax is a great choice for those who want to stay away from harsh chemicals in their skin care products. It also forms a protective layer on the skin.
3. Sniffle stopper dari Plant Therapy
Sniffle Stopper is great for helping your child breathe easier when they are congested or have a cold. Just soak a few drops or dilute then apply on their chest and under their nose.
